Platonic Ltd (operating the rendering service under the name PlatonicFarm)
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between Platonic Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us") and any individual or legal entity ("Client", "you") who accesses or uses the PlatonicFarm rendering service, website, or desktop application ("PlatonicFarm Client").
Platonic Ltd operates the rendering platform and all associated services under the commercial name PlatonicFarm. Any reference to "PlatonicFarm" in these Terms refers to the service and platform; any reference to "Platonic Ltd" refers to the legal entity and its obligations.
By registering an account, downloading the PlatonicFarm Client application, or submitting any project for rendering, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
Eligibility — minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old to register an account or use the Services. By accepting these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.
Platonic Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email or a notice on the PlatonicFarm website. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Previous versions of the Terms will be archived and made available upon request.
PlatonicFarm provides GPU-based cloud rendering services for 3D scenes submitted by the Client. The service includes:
Third-party render nodes: To fulfil orders faster or to handle peak demand, Platonic Ltd may route rendering jobs to trusted third-party infrastructure partners. All such partners are subject to confidentiality obligations no less protective than those set out in these Terms. By submitting a project to PlatonicFarm, the Client consents to such processing as part of the service.
PlatonicFarm does not guarantee rendering speed, delivery timelines, or compatibility with any specific third-party software or hardware configuration. Any information published on the PlatonicFarm website regarding processing speed is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of future performance.
The Client is solely responsible for:
PlatonicFarm provides computational resources only. Platonic Ltd does not review, validate, or modify scene content prior to rendering. Any errors in the submitted scene — including but not limited to missing textures, incorrect settings, or corrupt files — remain the sole responsibility of the Client. The Client will be charged for all GPU-hours consumed, regardless of the quality or completeness of the rendered output.
Account registration: The Client must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. The Client is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity performed under the Client's account is deemed authorised by the Client and is their sole responsibility. If the Client shares their account credentials with third parties, those parties are considered agents of the Client and are bound by these Terms.
One account per person or entity: Each individual or legal entity is permitted to maintain only one active PlatonicFarm account. The creation of multiple accounts by the same person or entity — including through the use of different email addresses, payment methods, or other means — for the purpose of obtaining promotional credits, bonuses, or discounts more than once is strictly prohibited. Platonic Ltd reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate all accounts associated with such activity, without refund of any balance.
Prepaid model: PlatonicFarm operates on a prepaid basis. The Client deposits funds into their account balance, which is consumed as rendering jobs are processed.
Pricing: Rates are charged per GPU-hour per render node. The applicable rate is determined by the Client's deposit amount at the time of top-up, as set out in the current pricing schedule published on the PlatonicFarm website.
Payment processing: All payments are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), which acts as the exclusive Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle is responsible for collecting payment, issuing invoices, and calculating and remitting all applicable taxes, including VAT and Sales Tax, in accordance with the laws of the Client's jurisdiction. The Client will receive an invoice from Paddle, not from Platonic Ltd. By completing a purchase, the Client agrees to Paddle's terms of service, available at paddle.com. Platonic Ltd is not responsible for any payment processing errors, disputes, or tax calculations handled by Paddle.
Charges: The Client will be charged for all GPU-hours consumed, including jobs that are cancelled or terminated before completion. If a job is terminated before completion, the Client will be charged only for GPU-hours actually consumed up to the point of termination.
Balance suspension: If the Client's account balance reaches zero, Platonic Ltd reserves the right to pause or suspend active rendering jobs until additional funds are deposited.
All prices and fees are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless otherwise expressly stated.
Standard payment via Paddle: For payments processed through Paddle (the default payment method), Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and is solely responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting all applicable taxes, including VAT and Sales Tax, in accordance with the laws of the Client's jurisdiction. In this case, the Client will receive a tax invoice from Paddle. Platonic Ltd has no liability for tax calculations or compliance in connection with Paddle-processed transactions.
Direct invoicing for EU B2B Clients: As an alternative to payment via Paddle, EU-based business Clients may request a direct invoice from Platonic Ltd. To use this option, the Client must contact info@platonicfarm.com in advance and provide a valid EU VAT identification number. Direct invoices will be issued by Platonic Ltd in accordance with Bulgarian and EU VAT legislation.
Where a valid EU VAT number is provided, the reverse charge mechanism applies under Article 196 of EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC. In such cases, no VAT will be charged by Platonic Ltd, and the Client is responsible for accounting for VAT in their own jurisdiction.
It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that any VAT number provided to Platonic Ltd is valid and relates to the entity entering into this agreement. If an invalid VAT number is provided, Platonic Ltd reserves the right to charge VAT accordingly, along with any applicable penalties or interest.
Regardless of the payment method used, the Client remains responsible for fulfilling any additional tax obligations applicable in their country of residence or establishment.
Prepaid funds deposited into a PlatonicFarm account are generally non-refundable. Where mandatory consumer protection legislation requires otherwise, Platonic Ltd will act in accordance with such requirements.
Waiver of withdrawal right: By initiating a rendering job, the Client expressly requests that Platonic Ltd begin providing the service immediately. The Client acknowledges that, once rendering has commenced, the right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU no longer applies to the portion of the service already performed. The Client will be charged for all GPU-hours consumed up to the point of any cancellation.
Billing disputes: If the Client believes they have been incorrectly charged — for example, due to a platform error or service failure on the part of Platonic Ltd — they must contact info@platonicfarm.com within 30 days of the charge. Platonic Ltd will review all disputes in good faith and may issue a refund or account credit at its discretion.
Unauthorised account use: If the Client's account has been accessed without authorisation, the Client must report this to info@platonicfarm.com within 48 hours of discovery. Platonic Ltd will investigate and may issue compensation at its discretion, subject to verification.
Account credits issued by Platonic Ltd do not expire and are non-transferable.
Project files, rendered frames, and associated data are stored on PlatonicFarm servers for a maximum of 10 calendar days following the completion or cancellation of a rendering job. On the eleventh day following completion, all associated files are permanently deleted.
Extended retention beyond 10 days is permitted only where necessary to fulfil an active or pending order, and only for the duration required to complete that order.
The Client is responsible for downloading all rendered output within the 10-day retention period. Platonic Ltd accepts no liability for loss of data after the retention period has elapsed.
Platonic Ltd treats all submitted project files, scene data, and account information as confidential. Platonic Ltd will not share, sell, or disclose Client data to any third party except:
The Client retains full ownership of all submitted scene files, assets, and rendered output. By submitting content to PlatonicFarm, the Client confirms that they are the owner of, or are otherwise duly authorised to use, all intellectual property contained in the submitted files.
Platonic Ltd will not use Client content for any purpose other than providing the rendering service without the Client's prior written consent. Where the Client expressly grants written permission — for example, to feature rendered work on the PlatonicFarm website or in promotional materials — Platonic Ltd may use such content solely within the scope of that permission.
The Client must not submit content that:
The Client must not, and must not attempt to:
Platonic Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of this section, without refund of any consumed balance.
Queue-based delivery: Rendering jobs are processed in order of submission, subject to available capacity. Current farm load may affect the time before a job begins processing. Platonic Ltd does not guarantee a fixed waiting time or start time for any rendering job.
Uptime: Platonic Ltd targets a service availability of 99% but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and brief technical interruptions may occur. Where feasible, Clients will be notified of planned maintenance in advance.
No liability for delays: Platonic Ltd shall not be responsible for any Client project deadlines or delivery commitments that are not met as a result of queue times, service interruptions, or errors in Client-submitted scene files.
Compatibility: Platonic Ltd makes no warranty regarding the compatibility of PlatonicFarm services or software with any specific third-party application, plugin, operating system, or hardware configuration.
Warranties: Except as expressly stated in these Terms, Platonic Ltd makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Platonic Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, missed deadlines, loss of data, or damage to hardware or software.
The maximum aggregate liability of Platonic Ltd to the Client for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client to Platonic Ltd in the one month preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude the liability of Platonic Ltd for death, personal injury, or damages caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of Platonic Ltd or its employees.
Platonic Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government action, strikes, power outages, internet infrastructure failure, disruption or outage of backbone internet providers, or failure of third-party cloud infrastructure or data centre services (including but not limited to AWS, Google Cloud, and equivalent providers) upon which PlatonicFarm operations depend.
In the event of a force majeure situation, Platonic Ltd will make reasonable efforts to notify affected Clients and resume services as soon as practicable.
The Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Platonic Ltd and its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
Platonic Ltd processes personal data in accordance with:
Processing roles: Platonic Ltd acts as Data Controller in respect of account registration and billing data, and as Data Processor in respect of any personal data contained within Client-submitted scene files, which is processed solely on the Client's instructions.
Legal basis: Account and billing data is processed on the basis of contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Data subject rights: Clients have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port their personal data, and to object to processing, in accordance with the GDPR. Requests may be submitted to info@platonicfarm.com.
Sub-processors: Where rendering is processed via third-party infrastructure partners, the Client will be informed and equivalent data protection obligations will be imposed on those partners.

Data transfers: Any transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA will be subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
